Booking and transport conditions

Sun Ferry Oy will comply with the following conditions when booking vessels and cancelling reservations. These conditions become binding on both parties when the customer confirms the booking in writing by the due date. The customer must cancel a booking that he/she does not intend to use.

1. Booking and payment

RENTAL CAR

Corporate and public sector customers we will invoice you after the event. The berth rental can also be paid in advance by invoice or card payment at the ship's bar.

From individual and association customers We deduct the booking fee from the boat rental price. The boat rental must be paid 14 days before the start of the cruise. By separate agreement, we accept cash/card payment on board or invoicing afterwards.

The vessel will only depart once payment of the charter fee has been received or the invoice has been approved. Sun Ferry Ltd has the right to cancel the agreement if the agreed booking fee is not paid by the due date. The booking fee will be taken into account in the final invoice.

Food and Drink Services

On-board catering is always ordered and specified in advance, at least 14 days before departure. The number of persons indicated by the customer 7 days before the cruise is the basis for invoicing the catering. Beverages are charged according to actual consumption, wines according to opened bottles.

Refreshments are generally invoiced after the event or paid for by card at the ship's bar. Food and drink refreshments can also be invoiced in advance once the number of attendees has been confirmed and the number of portions to be invoiced is known. Cruise tickets

Cruise tickets are primarily purchased and paid for through our online shop. The most common credit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay, are accepted as payment methods. If you require an invoice, please see the invoicing and payment terms below.

You can cancel or change your online shop purchase up to 7 days before the departure time of your cruise (18:00). You will find this option in the confirmation email sent to you.

Large group bookings (over 30 people) can be cancelled 14 days before the start of the cruise. The latest number of people must be confirmed no later than 7 days before the cruise.

3. MISCELLANEOUS AND INVOICING

In addition to cash, the most common debit and credit cards accepted on board are Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, Visa Electron and Amex.

On the bill When paying, we need a business ID (y-tunnus) or a personal identification number (henkilötunnus) for invoice registration and potential credit checks. The personal identification number will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Corporate and public sector clients lInvoicing after the event or card payment at the ship's bar, by agreement, it can be invoiced in advance once the number of people has been confirmed.

Private and association customers: The booking fee for the vessel rental will be invoiced according to the section [vessel rental]. Catering will be invoiced once the number of guests is confirmed or as per the agreement, with payment by card at the ship's bar. For payments made after the event, we reserve the right to check credit information.

Payment terms are cruise-specific and subject to the following conditions.

private cruises 14 net working days. [incl. items: basic rent and food and beverage services]

car cruises 7 days net. The invoice must be paid 7 days before the start of the cruise or as otherwise agreed.

Contract customers 14 days net or 30 days net. Invoicing in arrears.

As an invoicing supplement, we charge €7 per invoice. Late payment interest according to the Interest Act.

The right to change prices is reserved.

The cancellation date is the date on which Sun Ferry Oy is notified of the cancellation. If the customer proves that the cancellation was sent in time to arrive at the intended time, the cancellation will be accepted even if it is late or does not arrive at all.

If the customer cancels the confirmed booking of the vessel, The vessel charter fee will be charged as follows:

- Cancellation 0-60 days before cruise, charge 100 %

If the customer cancels subscribed catering services, charged according to the quantity and price stated in the order confirmation as follows:

- Cancellation 0-7 days before cruise, charge 100 %

- Cancellation 8-14 days before cruise, charge 50 %

The following conditions apply to the carriage of passengers:

1. The freight forwarder is Sun Ferry Oy. The transport contract is between the freight forwarder and the passenger.

2. The passenger is obliged to comply with the ship's order and safety regulations during the transport.

3. The carrier shall be liable for personal injury to a passenger caused by an accident during the journey, if

The damage has been caused by an error or omission by the carrier or someone acting under their responsibility.

The same applies to the loss of luggage and damage caused by the passenger's delay.

4. The passenger must prove that the damage caused to them or their luggage resulted from

by the error or omission of the carrier or those acting on its behalf.

5. Under Section 15 of Chapter 15 of the Finnish Maritime Act, the carrier's liability is limited per passenger and

all damages incurred during the same journey combined:

• 4 150 SDR for passenger transport delay

• 1 800 SDR, in case of loss, damage or delay to baggage

10,000 SDR per vehicle

• 2,700 SDR for loss of, damage to or loss of other baggage.

The carrier may in addition invoke the overall limits of liability provided for in Section 5 of Chapter 9 of the Maritime Act.

Passenger deductibles:

• 20 SDR for baggage and delay claims

The Special Drawing Right (SDR) is an international reserve asset created by the International Monetary Fund

defined unit, whose exchange rate is 1 SDR = 1.23 € (16.3.2026).

6. The freight forwarder does not respond:

• In the event of injury or damage to hand luggage, as well as delays,

incurred before the passenger has boarded or hand luggage has been brought on board, or the passenger's

after disembarking or removing hand luggage from the vessel.

• Money, securities, and works of art or valuables.

7. The vessel's master and crew, and others for whom the charterer is responsible, also have the right to the aforementioned

limitations of liability and disclaimer of liability.

8. Claims concerning matters governed by these terms shall be brought before the maritime court in the district of the Court of Appeal,

in which the carrier has his place of business or in which he chiefly carries on his business.

9. In other respects, the provisions of the Finnish Maritime Act shall apply.

Any complaints must be made immediately to the staff or crew member. Every effort will be made to deal with complaints immediately.

If this is not possible, a satisfactory solution cannot be reached, or if it involves a claim for damages, the appeal must be sent in writing within one month of the event to: sunlines@sunlines.fi.

Sun Ferry Oy reserves a processing time of one month (30 days) for handling complaints.

Sun Ferry Oy is not obliged to compensate the customer for any inconvenience or costs incurred due to natural conditions, such as unexpected weather changes.

Sun Ferry Oy has the right to cancel a booking in the event of an unavoidable obstacle, Force majeure. In such cases, the customer is entitled to a full refund.

Sun Ferry Oy may also cancel a booking if payments relating to the booking are not made in due time.
