Maritime experiences - a rising trend in leisure days
The benefits of nature are increasingly recognised, and nature elements will play a more prominent role in future recreation days. The marine environment offers a unique context for promoting well-being at work - the sound of waves has been shown to reduce stress and increase creative thinking. The Helsinki archipelago is therefore the perfect setting for a memorable day of recreation.
Charter cruises are an ideal solution for a day of recreation for work communities. M/S Emma is perfect for corporate events for 60-216 people, and during the cruise the entire space is at your exclusive disposal. The maritime experience brings team members together in a natural way - everyone is literally in the same boat! The four-hour cruise provides just the right window of time to work together, while seeing Helsinki from a new, maritime perspective.
Interested in a day of marine recreation? From 2490€ you can book the M/S Emma for your company. The popular Taco fiesta buffet tops off the maritime experience!
Wellbeing activities for a successful rest day
Future recreation days will emphasise the balance between activity and relaxation. Mindfulness exercises combined with the marine environment offer an effective way to lower stress levels. Even short mindfulness exercises in the midst of nature strengthen your presence and help you to detach from your work routine.
Games that reinforce teamwork continue to be effective team-builders. The marine environment inspires creative problem solving and the fresh sea air refreshes the mind. At their best, activities combine learning and fun without being noticed, so that the team dynamic develops as if by itself.

Planning a talent day: how to create a memorable experience
Planning a successful rest day starts with setting goals. Think about what the work community needs right now - energising shared activities or perhaps a space to relax and talk to each other? It's a good idea to build a timetable for the day, spacing out the more active and quieter moments. For example, a cruise starting at 18:00 is the perfect afternoon and early evening time for refreshment.
Food is an important part of a successful recreation day. The popular Taco fiesta buffet is an excellent choice, which is suitable for almost all diets and brings a sense of community to the meal. Make sure to check in advance for special diets so that everyone feels included.
